A contorted specimen of bright crystalline copper with micro crystalline cubic cuprite with attached translucent chrysocolla and serpentine matrix.
Probably the most aesthetic specimen Ive seen from this location resembling some sort of prehistoric monster.
Countbridge Quarry has been flooded since the late 1970's, the coper specimens from there and the neighbouring Trevassack Quarry seem to keep there brilliance over time.
Superb for the location.
Stands unaided!
