A group of quartz crystals standing 8 cm tall which are coated in hematite and in turn with tiny sugar like double terminated quartz. On the main crystal group are several hollow lenticular casts of siderite to 2 cm, the siderite having been dissolved away leaving these quartz discs.
There are two almost identical examples from the same mine exhibited in the mineral gallery at The Truro Museum.
