Wheal Jane Mine, Kea, Cornwall.
A group of pyrite crystals to 1 cm partly coated in crystalline siderite with areas of ludlamite crystals to 3 mm.
This specimen is from the early workings of Wheal Jane, late 1800’s and are very rare not to be confused with the more modern specimens.
The pyrite is stable with no signs of decomposition.
Comes with an old LL Hubbard collection label. Ex Seaman mineral museum.
