Quartz matrix with minor wolfram and chalcopyrite supporting thick rounded masses of crystalline cronstedite mostly covered with a very thin layer of light brown goethite with some of the crystals of cronstedite poking through.

A very rich specimen of this rare iron silicate which Wheal Jane is well known for.
