Carnelloe Mine 'Zennor Consols', Zennor, West Penwith, Cornwall.
An excellent vein section displaying a quartz matrix backed by chlorite, with two distinct veins of massive and tightly intergrown sparable cassiterite crystals. The cassiterite is dark brown to almost black and forms rich, compact bands within the quartz and chlorite matrix.
A rich specimen and an excellent example for this locality. Size 11 x 8 x 3 cm
