An old and unusual set of four tin candles joined together and formed from the drips of molten during the smelting process of tin oxide at a Cornish smelter.

From the collection of the late LJ Bullen who was the author of several books on Cornish mining.

The longest candle is 12.5 cm long, the set measures 14 x 4 x 1.2 cm
