Drift Moor Consols, Sancreed, Cornwall.

A single detached quartz crystal coated with compact fibrous wood tin in various shades of brown with minor adularia.

This was the only complete quartz crystal with wood tin collected from a lode exposure in 2018 at higher Drift near the head of the Drift Moor Valley, probably the same lode that was worked for tin further East at the Nancoathan and Garth mines which all eventually came under the name of Drift Moor Consols.
