No. 6 Level, Mount Wellington Mine, Twelveheads, Cornwall.

An excellent specimen displaying undamaged octahedral crystals of iron pyrite covering quartz crystals.
This specimen was collected by the late Geoff Tippett in the early 1970s. The pyrite is stable with no signs of pyrite rot.
