Charlestown Beach, Carlyon Bay, St Austell, Cornwall.
A very rare locality specimen displaying quartz epimorphs after calcite. The largest epimorph measures 2 cm in length and is coated with tiny quartz crystals.
Only two specimens were collected from an open cavity in quartz quartz vein below the high-water mark in 1987.
