A large Carlsbad twin crystal of orthoclase feldspar richly replaced by cassiterite with granular quartz.

The crystal which is sitting on a bed of dark granular cassiterite measures just over 3.5cm long and has another smaller crystal attached to one side.

An excellent and unusual specimen.
